Bali. Good days, amazing nights.

It started off horribly, with me having to single-handedly take care of Ryan with his bleeding face and Martin with his puking on the bed.. I thought Spring Break was going to suck. The next day didn't help either, was bored as hell and nothing much happened at all.

After that day, we went to the fabled Dreamland that everyone's crazy about. Apparently there was supposed to be this crazy party on the beach as the sun sets that'll go on all night. Unfortunately, nothing of that sort happened. There was no party. There was no music. And whatever it was, it didn't even last all night. And even if it did, I sure as hell wasn't going to waste my time there. What did happen, though, was the sun setting by the beach in 15 minutes and pouring rain in 20. Now, this normally wouldn't be a problem in the 21st century, seeing as we have such things as paved walkways, roads and cars to help us leave such places hastily. But no, Dreamland had no such things. We had to climb a rock mountain in the pouring rain with absolutely no source of light except for the flashes of lightning. While I was climbing said mountain with my bare feet, I had an epiphany; we were going to die. Or atleast be seriously fucked. Picture this, you've just climbed a rock mountain barefoot during a stormy night and you're looking over a cliff with the beach on the horizon. On the other side, you just see an expanse of land. Empty land, absolutely nothing there. Your feet hurt, you're soaking wet and it's just you and three of your friends. Fortunately, by that time, Shaskia, Krizia and Rica somehow got hold of a cab and got that cab to call everyone else more cabs. I've never been happier to see taxis. It definitely was an experience, but not something I want to repeat too often.

After that point, things could have not get any worse. And things didn't. Bali picked up speed and between a Japanese girl (you know who you are ;) ), countless bottles of various types of alcohol, chilling with my best friends, going out till 5 A.M., sleeping at 8 A.M. and playing Winning Eleven on the XBox, I discovered why many equate Bali to paradise.

Now, I'm in my melancholic, reflective mood. I truly am going to miss high school. I'm going to miss my friends. I'm going to miss hanging out with people from such different backgrounds but with the same aim (e.g. partying till dawn). Life really can't get any better than that (oh, I got accepted at 3 pretty good colleges too, but who cares about those boring details right?). I miss Bali already, but I'm going to miss the experience even more once graduation day arrives.

I've got a lot of thoughts right now, too much to put down in a single entry, think I'm going to leave the rest for later.
